At unpredictable times
And cannot be forced.
Behold, the dumpster yields up
The makings of a new drum.
Seriously. Went into the shop to scrounge some boxes to ship something to an employee and found a cardboard spool big enough and sturdy enough to be the guts of a shime-daiko.
Must order some djembe rings tonight....
EDIT. Make that: must remember to get the spool out of the back of the truck, unbolt the plastic ends, measure the diameter and THEN order djembe rings.
