Yeah, but now I'm wiped out.

Went in to work today, sounding marginally less like Frank Oz than yesterday. Shoveled off my desk, which actually was not in bad shape - and already had three Christmas presents left on it. Jim for the win: a bottle of Tozai "Voices in the Mist". Kurokamakiri-hime may turn up her nose at unfiltered sake, but I'm looking forward to trying this. I think it needs to come to the solstice party tomorrow. (Jim's a beer and bourbon guy. He walks into BevMo and picks based on the assumption that a higher priced sake will be a better sake. While this is not necessarily a universal truth, it's not a bad strategy if you know bugger all about sake. The past two years he picked winners, and the description linked above sounds very promising.)
Greg gets extra karma points for thoughtfulness: a $20 gift certificate for JoAnn's shows he's been paying attention.
Office Christmas gifts are done except for tags.
Ingredients for ginger cheesecake have been acquired.
A desperately needed nap has been had.
I went, "Look! The Winged Victory Of Samothrace!". 'Cause sometimes you just need to create a diversion. And that Momoyama inro was a nice surprise discovery anyway.
