Nuts! That sounds like a blast, but I'm booked that weekend.

My next major costuming project is going to be a Victorian or a regency. Or a American Civil War gown. Something that needs a hoop, darn it!

Regency does not require hoops - which is one of the reasons I like it. It also flatters my figure, such as it is. Victorian and ACW overlap, though I presume there may be some slight fashion differences between what was being worn in Europe and what was being worn in America.
