Hufriggingmungous to do list
May. 11th, 2009 03:33 pmWrite and send
allergicone class info for A&S. I must be nuts to try to offer an entire track of classes, host a lunch picnic AND do a taiko performance after it.
Make list for picnic menu.
Finish English jacket and petticote so I can wear them Sunday. (Sleeves need to go on. Inner and outer lining need to be mated at bottom hem and inside sleeves. Petticote needs to be pleated into a waistband.)
Finish Sooper Sekrit Prezzie project before Saturday.
Shovel out the Superfund site that is my apartment. (Anyone know how to get a backhoe up a flight of stairs?)
Laundry.
Groceries.
"Putting it on" video for Wodeford Hall. Needs to happen at some point, just not sure when.
Mad social whirl as of now:
Saturday: Mists Investiture (day trip), K&A's barbecue after 5 PM.
Sunday: Free Artillerie Company at Livermore Celtic Games. (Any Celtic Games that characterizes belly dance as living history and/or Celtic needs all the authentic re-enactors it can get.)
Next weekend: Baycon. Crap! Order membership tonight! And coordinate with
mamapduck .
June 6 - 7 . Breather (I think).
June 12 - 14 Kingdom A&S. I foresee that I shall overdo it and the Kingdom Shall Yawn over most of it.
June 19 - 21 June Crown. Up the line in Duncan's Mills.....
June 25 - 28 (possibly evenings through July 2) Play tour guide for my sister and her family.

Date: 2009-05-12 02:18 am (UTC)Pickles I can get at my usual sources, but if you want to do homemade, that would be great too.
I figure I can make up a mess of onigiri, maybe some chilled soba noodles with dipping sauce, fresh seasonal fruit and some sort of sweet.

Date: 2009-05-12 02:21 am (UTC)Don't mind me, I'm just laughing at my ambition. I expect my classes to be on the small side.
And the thing about a picnic is that it's a picnic. The food will already be made, it just needs to be laid out.

Date: 2009-05-12 04:50 pm (UTC)Your fan, Saionji-hime, was a lovely accoutrement that actually ended up flaunting about with me a bit, as the A/S display did not happen as intended. However, I did bring out its delicate floral self to journey with me for a bit, and it was greatly admired and complimented, at which I greatly praised the name of its lovely creator. It is now safely home with me in my sewing room, and I will bring it with me this weekend that it might journey home with its mother. :)
