Good news: fever is down. I don't feel like I've been beaten with a stick.
Bad news: throat is still scratchy.

Good news: my counterpart is out of the office and the office is relatively quiet right now so I can shovel off all the accumulated crap of the last few days.
Bad news: I just discovered a hole in the left elbow of the long sleeved T-shirt I'm wearing. Looks more like it got hung up on the agitator in the washing machine than a wear hole....

Good news: they're letting us go early tomorrow.
Bad news: I need to get my act together if I'm going to BayCon. At this point I'm wondering whether I want to even bother with anything resembling a hall costume.

I'm going in the hall costume of "suburban housewife." Hah! Little do the suspect I'm actually an *urban* housewife!

No problemo. I figure I'll come home at 2, figure out what I want to take and leave from here whenever. There's no programming I absolutely HAVE to be at. If I'm up to it I might look in on the Regency ball. Wonder if I can get my fat self into my gown....
