  And a relatively small one at that. No, I didn't bring it home, it's illegal to "collect" in Yosemite, so it got put back where I found it.

umm..wow. That's a big 'un.

I've only been to Yosemite once, and I was only 13, but I do remember it was positively overwhelming. That whole trip--which included Yosemite, Boulder CO, Mt Rushmore, and a float boat trip down the Snake River through the Grand Tetons with Carl Levin and his family was an incredible experience. What a gorgeous world we live in.

In Scouts I remember calling those "widowmakers"--for obvious reasons!

Beautiful pictures--can't wait to see more. :) Yosemite is one place I've always wanted to get to (okay, so I've been there--but I want to go again now that I'm old enough to actually remember anything).
