I remember occasionally picking up the Pirate Radio Stations in Israel. It was hard (it was usually a lucky Ionosphere bounce more than anything). But they played all the good music - Beatles, Rolling Stones and a bunch of British bands I never heard in America. So we'd drag out our AM radios in the evening and see what we could find.
It was a crazy time and I was an teenager. :)

I cannot wait to see this. This is my mantra from "Pump Up The Volume" many many years ago. "Seize the air! It's yours! Talk HARD!" It was a crazy time, and still should be. ;-)
