Reconstructing and reconnecting

gurdymonkey1. Painted hardware has been reconnected on Sugoroku box. The black looks right.
2. The two smaller lanternshave had the last bits glued and clamped are done! The two big ones are getting bottoms glued on.
3. Had a lovely chat with The Bushi From Mutsu last night via PM - and he just pinged me again.
4. Announced the annual Rising Sun party on SCA-West and got an email inquiring about it. Turns out to be someone I met last year who moved out of kingdom and just moved back. Seems like a nice enough sort. Went back and forth two or three times before he realized he had met me.
My new sleeping bag arrived today, along with the compact tea kettle Perhaps, having invested in a 0 degree bag, I will have assured more moderate temperatures and weather for Estrella? Yeah, right.
