I came, I saw, I taiko'ed.

gurdymonkeyI need a taiko icon. (Every once and awhile I think about getting a paid account so I can have more icons. Then sanity returns.)
Taiko went ok. I'm starting to get a little more coordinated on some of the o-daiko exercises. I'm feeling considerably less out of condition too.
I'm packed, boarding passes are printed out, as is a discount parking coupon which works out to being cheaper than taking a cab to and from the airport. By this time tomorrow I'll be in Maryland to see my family.
Somehow buttonholes didn't happen last night because I was engaged in a PM conversation with the Long Lost Bushi From Mutsu. I may not have been lucky in love, but when it comes to friends, I am fortunate beyond all measure.
And now I'm going to go downstairs and finish the last few buttonholes on Brian's birthday present and watch the last hour and a half of "Seven Samurai" on TCM.
