SJB has been one of my favorite places since 1984 when I first did living history there, as an 1860's maid scrubbing the wooden sidewalk in front of the Plaza Hotel. I hope they are still doing the evening Ball in conjunction with the special Living History event held on Father's Day weekend (unfortunatly usually conflicting with June Crown).

Thank you for encouraging me to make improvments to my LJ. I posted a photo entry, added a user pic, boosted my bio, and unlocked whatever that thing was. These things needed to be done. I am of a certain age too, so if I get more than the one dance my hostess will probably give me, it will be a successful evening indeed.
