I never cease to be amazed at the Japanese penchant for ceremonializing the most ludicrous things.
The guy in the formal kamishimo had me giggling.
His sengoku ancestors would have been alternately appalled and in stitches.

Yeah, the kamishimo was special.
I'm also not so sure about the brilliance of tying one's match cord around one's wrist. That just sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

The ceremony that the one man went through. That made the already slow process so slow he would be killed in battle.
