In unrelated news, GoogleMaps claims it's 4 miles door to door from my place to where I take taiko - which isn't happening this evening due to a scheduling issue. It's also claiming rather optimistically that it takes 22 minutes by bicycle each way.

Nope, but a run into Discount Fabrics at Berkeley was - scored some vinyl remnants that should do well for bike bags: plain white and a fun Western floral "tooled" vinyl in red.
