Darn it, my gloves leaked. After a great deal of scrubbing, my nails are pale blue. However, the pukey cotton candy pink linen jacquard is a now a lovely royal blue and is currently in the dryer. If I knock out a kosode it will pair nicely with the plaid one that just lacks a collar.

EDIT: The linen dried to a lighter color with a faintly purple cast. Still quite pretty and will work with the plaid. For that matter, it'll work with the rose shibori kosode too.

Finished reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, a sufficiently absorbing murder mystery to make me bring it in the house last night instead of leaving it in the car to be finished on my lunch hour. No, I haven't seen the film, but I'll catch it when it makes the rounds on cable.

Speaking of Swedish movies, it appears that Let The Right One In has been remade in English as Let Me In, because I saw a trailer for it on TV recently. The original was awfully good. Is this just a sop for people who are too lazy to read subtitles or will it be any good? Who knows?
