Twelfth Night is Right Out

For me anyway. I am home. Soup has been ingested, as has Advil. I still feel like I've been hit in the face with a shovel. Even if I feel OK tomorrow morning, I should keep my germs here at home, because you know what pathological huggers SCA people are.

You should see the contortions I have to go through because I've got 3/8" of oshiroi spackled carefully on my face and some towering guy in a dark colored wool tunic or velvet doublet decides he MUST throw his arms around me. Ah, Twelfth Night. If it didn't take me 40 minutes to do my face, I'd LET Christophe walk around looking like a negative print of Veronica's Veil.

I'll join you in the virtual-hugs department, although in my case I seem to have an Exotic Imported Cold from the wilds of Boston rather than the boring old home-grown kind of cold.

I am actually feeling today like maybe I did NOT get run over by a truck, so there is probably hope for you in a few days....

Feel better soon. I've got the East Coast version, I think. I wanted to go to something new, a Browncoats of New York City monthly Meet Up tomorrow, but I may wait until March.
