Vocabulary words for this week:
地震 "Jisshin." (JEE-SHEEN). Earthquake.

津波 "Tsunami." (SOO-nah-MEE). Tidal wave.

火事 "Kaji." (KAH-jee). Fire.

(For good or ill, the reason I know these has to do with their use as titles for taiko pieces. "Tsunami" is the signature piece of San Francisco Taiko Dojo. "Jisshin" and "O-Kaji" are compositions by my sensei.)

Just so you find synchronicity in everything, my first kenjutsu sensei/SCA mentor's household had cats named Kaji and Jisshin.
