Payroll was remarkably painless this week, except for the two foremen who wanted to get into a pissing contest with me about whether or not they had faxed their receipts in. (Dude, if I don't have it, I don't have it. I am not calling you because I have nothing better to do than make you fax it again. Though if you didn't write your name on it, that might be WHY we can't match the bastard to your time card. )

Eye exam didn't happen. The opthalmologist's office called to say she had hurt her arm earlier today. So I'm down for an appointment in mid August.

Speaking of hurt, the knot in left shoulder is still there and left elbow started being obnoxiously twingy this morning. Slapped some Icy Hot on it when I got home and took an Advil, which seems to have helped. If someone on Merchant's Row at Pennsic is doing massage, I may indulge myself.

The sewing part of the Tosenin kosode festivities is done - though I'm not 100% happy with how the collar is lying. If I feel sufficiently inspired, I may pick out the stitching and fix it - but not tonight.

Laundry is done. I will wave the iron at my garb tomorrow afternoon and then rewrinkle it by ramming it into my suitcase.

Flying out Friday AM at 6, which means booking a cab to come pick me up before God himself gets up in the morning...
