Irritating things

gurdymonkeyDid something to my left wrist, probably at the event, most likely while slinging things around during our hasty tear-down. Been doing the ace bandage and Advil drill ever since. As a result I have to forgo taiko tonight.
It's May 17 and you could hang meat in this apartment. Seriously. I'm wearing wool socks and a heavy sweater and I want nothing more than to go downstairs and turn on the heat.
It's been raining on and off since Saturday night. Needless to say I have not been out on my bike.
The price of gas.
Quote of the day, said to my co-worker by one of our construction workers: "Can you put it in an email? You know as soon as I hang up I go from Man to Idiot."
On the upside, April got a shot of me playing Saturday that I like. (Yes, I'm downhill from my drum. It was kind of an odd corner of the field out of the way of the fighting. My knees aren't THAT flexible. )
And I figured out how to download the photos Val had of me and Tobe, which I present herewith:
