The recent spike in headache occurence? I had another one this afternoon. So I did some online research and you've guessed it - another "feature" of this wacky thing they call menopause. Not to mention the complete inability to shave any weight off despite minding my diet and exercise. You know something's screwy when you've been "good" and gain five pounds. (So I said "Screw it!" and ate what I liked for a week while James was in town and NOW my jeans are loose.)
Oh, and anyone who writes "But now that you've reached the determined confidence of mid-life, you've found this page in the hope that you can fight back!" should be pummeled to death with her own laptop.

If I don't take Black Cohosh before I go to sleep, hot flashes are very likely to interfere with at least 1 night out of every 3. (And in the meantime, absolutely no sign of any changes at all in the usual monthly BS, although I am feeling quite finished with bearing children and have no more need for that sort of thing, thank you...)
