Can potty humor be cute?

OK, we were discussing the Japanese cult of the sickeningly cute over on the Tousando and somebody posted this especially for me because it had monkeys in it.

Does the fact that I laughed out loud make me a bad person? Everybody thinks Saionji-hime is such a class act. On the other hand, potty humor is very Japanese.  I don't know! I'm so confused! For those who do not know the connotation, the Japanese see a rabbit in the moon and he's supposed to be pounding rice to make mochi (a gelatinous marshmallowy-like rice cake)
