I would never EVER ask someone to "come up with something" like that, particularly if it was relevant to a third-person's class.

I'm somewhat infamous for walking into classes and panels and saying "This description is crap, so here's what we're going to do" to the cheers of the attendees.

I think that I did that for all my panels at the Chicago Worldcon...
