....but I bought a loaf of bread for the first time in over a year because I'd been jonesing for toast last weekend.

I stopped at Cost Plus looking for Twinings Lemon Ginger tea (and not finding it, doggone it). So I had to console myself with a jar of Duerr's 1881 Coarse Cut Seville Orange Marmalade, which perhaps properly should be called Seville Brown Marmalade. This ain't your pale, sugary Smuckers orangey goo, this is marmalade for adults. Rich without being cloying, bitter, but in a good way, think of it as the marmalade equivalent of really good dark chocolate. It soothed my jangled wa after a supremely irritating day at work. Marvelous stuff.

I am tempted to go back for a jar of the ginger preserves and see what that's like.

I get ginger preserves fairly often, though not that brand. I have a wonderful recipe for ginger preserve bread that tastes scrumptious with cream cheese. I should haul out the bread maker and make some again. Now I'm getting hungry....
