Every summer, Dad comes to Santa Cruz for the Dickens Universe. Every summer I brave Friday afternoon traffic down I-880 and Route 17 to meet him and do dinner.
Well, I've finally visited the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, mostly because it had three major photography exhibits on at the same time, all of which sounded interesting.
Unencumbered by friends or family I dared not lose on a crowded city street, and somewhat inspired by photo uploads by friends visiting town and making smart cracks about being ON MY LAWN (you know who you are!) I walked north from SFMOMA to Chinatown, thinking I'd try to get some pictures of the amazing architecture.
