Welcome to the Society For Crappy Photography.  You did get some beautiful shots of a bunch of people aiming cameras right back at you though.
***********************************************

Stupid people at work #1: They've been doing road construction outside the plant since last Thursday and you're pissed that you didn't get 24 hours' notice that the driveway at the west end of the property would be temporarily blocked today for about two hours? The rest of us have been brown bagging, waiting for the taco truck on the corner of Teagarden and Montague, or walking up to the Quizno's up in Marina Square they started ripping up the old asphalt last week. Or, here's a thought,  using the east end driveway.

Stupid people at work #2: Yes, the Bay Bridge is open. It's been open since Monday afternoon. What rock have you been under?
***********************************************

Name paperwork is done, appropriate updates have been downloaded and printer jiggered into submission. Need to whack together a couple sketches after work tomorrow and see which I like enough to submit as a badge.
***********************************************

Laundry is done, and I found yet another left-elbow-holed shirt. Why is it only ever the left elbow?

One just got out of ICU. Another is entering a hospice. Incense remains lit.

I got a letter in the mail from Kaiser asking me if I'd be interested in participating in a research study to determine the effect of a specific medication on management of hot flashes and other menopause symptoms. Given that nothing's paused yet, I'm going to have to take a pass on that along with my Advil and bag of salt and vinegar chips today.

Symptoms like hot flashes often start well before the "pause." I'm told they fade away afterwards. I wouldn't know.... ;)

(Every time my gynecologist sees me, she says, "What, not YET?")

Yes, they fade away within a few months.
